October 30, 7:00 p.m., Berliner Union Film Atelier Gardens
Carrier pigeons are among the oldest information technologies, the blockchain is among the youngest. Both form global networks and shift the unit of value with different market values. Both are radically decentralised infrastructures, but consume a lot of energy. What models for communal distribution of public goods become imaginable when you think of these two infrastructures together? And which kind of technology allows for more sustainable relationships with the cycles and needs of (non-human) nature?
