Inhabiting Rome – Notes from a Political Struggle

“There are houses out there, let’s take them!
The right to housing is sacrosanct. We will fight!
A house belongs to whoever lives in it!
Enough people without a home,
enough homes without people!
Housing, rights, and dignity!
Break the lock, open the gate, occupy vacant properties –
the fight will never end.”¹
